While visiting Jerusalem, the Apostle Paul was attacked by an angry mob. Not knowing the cause of the commotion, Roman soldiers swooped in arrested him, before he was torn apart. This would lead to a series of trials in Jerusalem, Caesarea, and eventually Rome. Though the apostle would spend years of his life as a prisoner, the gospel was not bound in chains. The book closes with Paul awaiting the outcome of his trial. His example shows us that wherever we find ourselves, whatever our circumstance, the Lord gives us opportunities to share Christ with those around us.
