Being a part of a church family is a vital aspect of the Christian life. We find encouragement and strength in one another. Together we help each other grow in our walk with God. Serving side-by-side there is no limit to what the Lord can accomplish through His people. And our Savior is pleased when the members of His Church lift their voices of praise together as one. If you are searching for a church home, we invite you to come visit us at Grace Gospel Church.
Ladies Missionary Fellowship
We are a fellowship of Christian Ladies encouraging one another through God’s love and grace. As God blesses us, we faithfully devote ourselves to prayer and offer financial support to projects within our church, our community, and international missions. We meet the 3rd Thursday of each month, 7:00 p.m. at the church.
Mid-Week Bible Study
We gather weekly to spend time digging deeper into God’s Word, praying together, and growing in our walk with the Lord. We often work through a book of the Bible, or explore major doctrines of the Christian faith. We meet Tuesdays, at the church, at 6:30 p.m.
Women’s Bible Study
Our group provides the opportunity for women to connect with other women, study God’s Word, and encourage each other in love as they “do life” together while growing in grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. We study God’s Word using our Bible, books, and study guides. We meet every other week in our leader’s home.
Our goal for 2016 is to establish two new small groups: a men’s breakfast that would meet monthly, and a home group. If you have input or ideas about the kind of small group that would be of interest to you, let us know by sending an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
But Jesus called for them, saying, “Permit the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all.” (Luke 18:16–17)
Children’s ministries have a always been a priority at Grace Gospel Church throughout our history. In the summer, we look forward to transforming the sanctuary for a week into a place where little ones can meet God during our Vacation Bible School. And during the fall and winter months we have weekly activities for young people.
Coached by Christ
Just as a coach leads a sports tea
m, Christ coaches us to live for God. CBC is for children preK through sixth grade. We have fun learning about God’s love through songs, class time, Bible memory, movies, snacks, crafts, and more. We meet each Wednesday from October through March, 6:30-8:00 p.m.
We have a youth group for junior and senior high school students. There is a time for hanging out, and playing games. We also spend time looking at how the Bible continues to speak to us today, giving the wisdom we need to follow God. Youth Group also meets Wednesday evenings, at the same time as CBC.
There are many other activities taking place at the church throughout the year. We try to schedule monthly fellowship events often involving food: like a fall campfire, a winter chili cook-off, soup and games, or a movie and popcorn. Our congregation enjoys serving the community in different ways, especially working together with area churches to volunteer in the Ada Food Pantry. We typically do this in the month of July. We also have a very talented choir that works hard to prepare special music during the Christmas and Easter seasons. See the Events Calendar to stay up to date.
